This hand knotted Turkish Oushak square rug from the 1950's boasts double diamond shaped center medallions, a halved minor medallion at one end, and a 17th century Lotto main border, all adorned with a hook and latch motif. Vibrant shades of tomato orange red, navy cobalt blue, antique ivory, coffee brown, and powder blue create a stunning color palette. While some areas show wear with foundation showing through, the original side cord selvages are mostly intact or restored. The sides and ends are fully secured, and the rug has been recently professionally cleaned and is ready for immediate use.
