A little scene painted on each shaker, just for the fun of it. Both pieces are hand-finished in glossy white porcelain with a gold-leafed lid, centered on a wreath of lemons and pink blossoms — one shaker circles a blue bird, the other a pink bird, so the pair reads as a matched set rather than two of the same thing. The rounded, slightly bulbous shape gives them real presence on a table for their size.

Small enough to sit beside a stack of napkins, detailed enough that no one clears them without noticing.
