Cinnamon Stick Scented Pillar Candle, Set of 3

This candle smells exactly the way it looks — and it looks like something from a Provençal holiday market that you can't believe you actually found.

The exterior is wrapped in real cinnamon sticks, bundled tightly around the wax pillar in the same way a rustic kitchen would tie spices for a mulling bundle. The texture is natural and tactile, the color is the warm, saturated brown of true cinnamon bark, and together three of these candles on a mantel or dining table create a display that reads as gathered and considered rather than purchased and arranged. Light one and the wax pool opens at the top while the cinnamon-wrapped exterior holds its form, giving off warmth and scent without losing its sculptural integrity. The fragrance is layered and genuinely complex: fresh-ground cinnamon and anise at the top, clove and tonka settling into carnation through the middle, and a base of sugar, vanilla, and cedarwood that lingers long after the flame goes out. It's the scent of a kitchen at the very best time of year.

Unlit, they function as pure decor. Lit, they fill a room with one of the most universally beloved seasonal fragrances there is.
