Clear Glass Sugar Ball Ornament with Feather

Clear Glass Sugar Ball Ornament with Feather in Three Sizes

Clear glass with a sugared texture and a single feather, so it has something to touch and something that moves.

The glass is clear underneath a fine, frosted coating with the grain of granulated sugar, which softens the shine and makes the ball read as matte white from a distance and sparkling up close. A feather detail finishes each one and gives the ornament a little motion when someone brushes past the tree, which a plain ball never does. The small at 3.25 inches (set of six) and medium at 4 inches (set of six) suit most trees, while the large at 4.75 inches (set of four) is best on the lower branches where the feather has room to hang.

Hang them toward the outside of the branches so the feather is not crushed against the needles.

Styling Tips
The Silver Luster Ornament Ball with Feather Design repeats the feather idea in silver, and the Winter Jewel Ribbed Glass Ball Ornament adds a ribbed texture in the same pale range.
