Deep emerald green with gold worked over it, which is about as dressed up as a glass ball gets.

The base is a saturated emerald glass and the gilded detailing sits on top of it, so the gold reads as a pattern against the green rather than tinting the whole ball. The small at 3.25 inches (set of six) tucks into the interior, the medium at 4 inches (set of six) carries the mid-branches, and the large at 4.75 inches (set of four) goes on the lower tier and the front-facing tips where the gilding can be seen. Green and gold is a traditional pairing, but this shade of green is dark enough to hold its own in a room with a lot of brass and wood.

Mix the medium in with plain gold balls at about one emerald to three gold so the green stays the accent.
