That's enough of one pattern to carry a whole tree, which is how a bold ornament like this should be used, in numbers rather than as a single accent. Against plain gold and black balls it looks deliberate; next to a lot of color it fights.

Trim the tree in the Medium set first, then add the Large four at the front and keep everything else to solid gold or black.
