Rica Marble on Antique Brass Cocktail Table

The rooms worth remembering always have one piece that anchors everything else. This is that piece.

The Rica is deceptively simple: a round marble top, four slender antique brass legs, nothing extraneous. But simplicity at this level of material quality reads as conviction. The marble surface, cool, veined, each slab its own, sits above a base with just enough warmth in the brass to keep the whole thing from feeling cold. At nearly 25" tall, it works as a drinks stand beside a sofa, a surface for a candle and a stack of books in a reading corner, or a pedestal moment in an entryway that sets the tone for everything beyond it.

It's the kind of table guests notice without being able to say exactly why, and that's precisely the point.
